EPE has higher flexibility, cushioning, and lower cost whereas XPE foam has higher density, better thermal insulation, and water resistance. Liquid type LPG (Butane mixed with propane at the ratio of 80:20 or 70:30) is generally used because good cooling system in our extruder and patent additive reduce aging time effectively. In terms of aging, 100% propane is advantageous for sheet production because it diffuses fast and cheap but its handling is not easy. Our EPE foam sheet extruder has three way special cooling system and long L/D to produce light, strong and resilient foam with significantly short aging time by using less gas. Our extruder has Long L/D(length by diameter), special screw design with advanced 3D cooling cooling system by extra oil cooling unit requires less dosing quantity of gas (10% of total production). We have patent GMS(GMS9850) to provide good & even penetration into foam without blocking foam surface as well. Our special 3D cooling system in 3 ways enhance foam strength, resilience and creep.
